Celia Davies

Celia Davies is an intuitive, multi-media artist and instructor, working from her home studio in the Ribble Valley of Lancashire.

Her visually striking work is primarily created using fluid-based materials, such as alcohol inks and epoxy resin. These materials appeal to Celia because their pigments pool in unique and unpredictable ways. When poured, they form fascinating and distinctive patterns, which she manipulates by hand to create paintings that are individual, expressive, and bold.

Art and travel have been lifelong passions for Celia, and the memories of her travels continue to influence and inspire her creative process. Her work also celebrates the colours, patterns, and textures found in the natural surroundings of the Lancashire countryside, where she lives with her husband, Chris.

Celia creates one-off contemporary paintings that marry well with modern interiors.
